Last week’s Rotary song Vive Le Rotary didn’t give as much feedback at the previous week’s Rotary Song, so I promise this is the last week of ROTARY SONGS!!
OH WHEN THE SAINTS
Oh when the saints! Oh when the saints!
Oh when the saints go marching in
Yes I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in
- And when the sun! And when the sun!
And when the sun begins to shine
Yes I want to be in that number
When the sun begins to shine. - Oh when we meet! Oh when we meet!
Oh when we meet at Rotary
Yes I want to be in that number
When we meet at Rotary.
The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
BE PROUD TO BE A ROTARIAN
ESPECIALLY A ROTARIAN IN THE ROTARY CLUB OF ST. LOUIS
Being a Rotarian means serving your community, networking, making friends, and building international relationships. Through Rotary, you have the opportunity to expand your leadership skills and achieve your goals.
It was great to see another large in person attendance last Thursday at our meeting. With the vaccine much more readily available, the number of cases diminishing and Rotarians wanting to get out we are starting to see everyone again.
As we have consistently done with our Club and our Meetings, we will continue to follow the guidelines set by the City of St. Louis and the Missouri Athletic Club (Our meeting site) while having a safe environment.
As we come out of the COVID 19 this year, let’s try to work adding to our membership. If everyone just asks one close friend or business associate, we will be able to grow in 2021.
Pass on information about our club and about Rotary to your friends, send the Pepperbox to them, Like and Share on Social Media. We really do have a great club, let’s not be afraid to tell the WORLD.

Another great meeting on Thursday as we welcomed E. Tracy Beckette, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army. Tracy gave us an update on how the US Army is using technology to be better prepare to defend our country. Fascinating information.
This week we celebrate our annual Architects Day. Our speaker will be Juliane Wolf who will give a program on the design or the 100 Kingshighway Building. The building on the western side of the Central West End is a highly recognizable apartment building. It is named “100 Above the Park”. Rising 36 stories above Forest Park, One Hundred will shape the cities’ skyline to the west. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Jeanne Gang, One Hundred will stand as an icon for generations to come. Juliane is one of the Design Principal for Studio Gang in Chicago. This should be truly a unique experience of our club.
Check out their website for all the detail and see some of the incredible views at this distinctively designed building. 100 Above the Park (liveat100.com)
