Our first outing of the Rotary Golf League was played at the beautiful Annbriar public golf course on Tuesday. We had 19 golfers, beautiful weather and a challenging course. What more could a golfer want? Well, that would be a wonderful BBQ pork steak dinner with apple crumb pie topped with ice cream! Yum! Yum!The best scores in the Championship Flight were Steve Lafara with a 79, Mike Regan with an 80 and Jack Windish with an 87. The A Flight best scores were Adam McNutt and David Wicks with 94’s and Rick Tinucci with a 102. Good shooting gents!
Steve Lafara was also the closest to the pin winner with a shot that was within 9 inches of the hole!
It’s not too late to join the league. Just send $50 to Earl Poe and let David Wicks know that you want to be on the email list. All levels of players are welcome!
