Rotary Golf 9/16 – St. Albans
| What a great day we had at St. Albans on our second try! Our previously scheduled date was interrupted by rain but the wait to play again was worth it. The weather was wonderful, the drinks were cold, the food was warm and the players were hot, hot! As usual, some players were better than others as noted below:
“A” Flight
1. Gary Jones 85 – 61
2. Earl Poe 91 – 69
3. Ken Schuman 91 – 69
Championship Flight
1. Harold Kalde 81 – 62
2. Flip Cady 77 – 69
3. Jim Bernardini 79 – 70
Closest to the pin winners were Gary Jones, Leonard Lehmkuhl and Matt Weiss.
Longest drive winners were Jack Windish and Flip Cady.
The Jones, Wicks, Webster and Kalde team was the overall team winner.
