Sallie Kratz Leaves $50,000 to The St. Louis Rotary Club Welfare Fund
Many thanks to our dear friend and club member Sallie Kratz. Still thinking of others. This generous donation will be used to help others. We miss you Sallie!
Sallie Kratz joined Club 11 in February 2004. Sadly, Sallie passed away on June 9, 2024. She was still a member of St. Louis Rotary.
Sallie planned many happy hours for the club, as well as our Muny picnics. She was a lot of fun to spend time with! She served on the membership committee for a number of years. She was Chair of the Gala Committee for the St. Louis Rotary’s 100th Anniversary in March of 2010.
Year after year she generously supported our Annual Charity Golf Tournament as a Gold Sponsor $5,000; and also donated additionally to our St. Louis Rotary Welfare Fund and to The Rotary Foundation.
Sallie was a talented watercolor artist and she used her talent for good. Sallie donated paintings to raise funds for multiple organizations. She created original paintings each year for organization Christmas card fundraisers. Including one for St. Louis Rotary Club. She also illustrated two children’s books. And did so much more!
