On Tuesday, September 13th the Rotary Golf League held an outing at Bogey Hills Country Club. 20 Rotarians enjoyed the Championship course on a beautiful sunny day. Following the round of golf, the group enjoyed cocktails followed by dinner in the new clubhouse.

A special treat – Bogey Hills member Susie Burkhardt welcomed the group before the round and also showed us a memorial to her late husband Earl that she had installed on the course. Earl Burkhardt was a long-time member of the St. Louis Rotary Club and the Rotary golf league. We all miss Earl very much. Thanks Susie!

Individual Flight winners for the outing were Steve Lafara – Championship Flight, Harold Kalde – A Flight, and Bob Garagiola – B Flight.

Steve Lafara won the Closest to the Pin contest at 3′ 11″. The Long Drive winner was Wade Weistreich.

Our next outing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th at Greenbriar Hills Country Club.
