Bowling Alleygations 10-26-20 | Captain Don Klackner ~ Team 1
Alleygations – Week 7- 10/26/20
Week 7 of Rotary Bowling is now in the books with the end of the 1st quarter coming up next week. We had good attendance this week with only one vacant spot. It was great to see the Conways back on the lanes. There were two big highlights for the week. First was a huge 227 game by our oldest member in the league Arnold Hadler who just turned 88 years young. Let’s all hope we can bowl that well at 88 (or maybe hope we can even live to 88). That score puts Arnold on top of the leader board for high handicap game. The second highlight also qualified for the number one spot on the leader board. Leonard Lehmkuhl rolled our first 700 scratch series this year and a high game of 245. Well done gentlemen. In addition, Team Jones posted a nice 738 handicap game to lead the league in that category.
The team standings saw some movement as team Klackner took all 20 points against team Lane and took over 1st place. So that puts Klackner 6 points ahead of Maddox with the roll off for the 1st quarter winner scheduled this week.
Thanks to all for another great night of fun, laughter and Rotary fellowship
