On the last Monday of season 107 for the St. Louis Rotary Club Bowling League,
another fun filled thriller of an evening.
It was the Weiss Guys, with three quarter winners under their fat belts, squaring off
vs the other Quarter winner Team Maddox. Rounding out the other two spots were the
Bakers and Werner teams having accumulated the two most hdcp pin totals for the year.
The Werner team snuck by the Soifer’s by 11 total pins……..FOR THE YEAR!!!
When the action started the Weiss Guys jumped ahead after the first game led by the
ONLY over 200 game of the evening with Dave Carr’s 212 game. From then on it was the
Bakers with their 334 hdcp pin totals per game out distancing the 2nd place Weiss Guys by
114pins. The Maddox’s were 1 pin behind the Weiss guys, I pin, for third place and the
Werner’s bringing up the rear.
Congratulations to Team Baker, who seem to never win quarters, but take no shame
in winning overall championships!!
There were no 50/50 winner because there WASN’T any.
THIS IS SWEEPSTAKES NIGHT. 26 bowlers participated. Everyone but Vic the fate.
As last year I did wager $5 on him but he disappointed me with a measly 2 pins over average
performance. No fresh cut hair for you this year and you better be wearing your man bun toupee
Banquet Night!
It is no surprise who the Sweepstakes Winner is. The most pins over average seems
to always have her at the top of the leaderboard
Rosita Cooper at 65 pins over average performance.
Daughter Amy Lewis at 56.
Derrick Wendling at 51. (Thanks for the bucket of cold ones for paying your entry)
Chase Thompson at 43.
Ralph Zuke at 26.
Dave Stuart at 24 tied with Terry Werner.
The Schu Man at 22
And fast LANE Carl at 18 over.

Season 107 was a huge success with 52 bowlers having participated. Let’s have a
GREAT BOWLING BANQUET PARTY to celebrate this great season.
The KC ROTARY BOWLING LEAGUE has only 24 bowlers.
I hope you all are as excited for season 108 as I am. What a fun year with many more to come.
