Nate Murphy has a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University
Edwardsville. He became involved with the Gateway Professional Chapter in September of 2022,
and has completed two international trips, both to Bolivia and Nicaragua.
Nate works as a Civil Engineer for Crawford, Murphy & Tilly inc., in their Water Resources
Department. His work experience consists of roles in design and construction services for
water and wastewater projects. He has experience working on designs for water and
wastewater equipment.
Eric Winkelman has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Bradley University. Eric
currently serves the Gateway Professional chapter on the Executive Committee and as Vice
President for 2026, and has been a member of the chapter since March of 2024.
Eric has been working at CMT since July of 2023. His professional experience has involved
project design, permitting, plan production, stormwater reports, and site investigation.
Sarah O’Sullivan is the founder of Montero Constructions Services, LLC, a St.
Louis based firm offering construction, project management, engineering and
compliance services. She is a licensed professional engineer with over fifteen
years of experience. In college, she was introduced to EWB and supported three
different projects in Bolivia with the Missouri University of Science and
Technology student chapter, based out of Rolla, Missouri. She was previously the
Project Manager on the Nicaragua Project for the St. Louis Gateway Professional
Chapter of EWB and currently serves as a mentor to the Professional Chapter’s
Khasu project in Bolivia. Sarah is a member of numerous professional
organizations and is passionate about utilizing her skillset to serve others and
improve communities.
