Michael Boyd
Michael Boyd is a longtime resident of the historic Lafayette Square neighborhood in St. Louis. His initial interest in Vandeventer Place was sparked by a 1975 St. Louis Post-Dispatch article on notorious Vandeventer Place resident Henry Clay Pierce.
Michael has worked an an architectural designer and restoration contractor and is a long-time private home inspector, which has afforded him the opportunity to visit many fascinating old and historic homes throughout the St. Louis area.
Thomas C. Grady
Thomas C. Grady is a fourth generation St. Louisan, retired Circuit judge and author of the detailed work, The Lost St. Louis Riverfront. He has served on Boards for the Mercantile Library for decades and is a past Landmarks Commissioner for the City of St. Louis. Vandeventer Place has been of interest to him since his father, born in 1890, took him down the Street in the last days of its existence, lamenting the loss of memory the destruction would represent.
