Volunteer Opportunity September 13, 2025

As part of a nationwide bed building extravaganza, Bunks Across America, the Maryland Heights branch of Sleep in Heavenly Peace is holding a Bed Build open to the public at the Arlington United Methodist Church, 3770 McKelvey Rd, Bridgeton MO 63044 from 9AM to 12PM.

The hope is to build around 50 beds, maybe more, which will then be distributed locally to children who need them. There are builds happening in about 30 other cities that same day across the country around the same time.

This is an event for all skill levels. You can measure wood to be cut, cut wood at a table saw, sand the wood, assemble the beds. You’ll get whatever training you need on site. It will be an assembly line-type situation.
