“JODI PETERSEN is an Initiative Portfolio / PMO Executive within Enterprise Strategic Initiatives for Bank of America. In this role, she is responsible for program/project management processes and controls and the project management implementation support of programs within the Enterprise Strategic Initiatives portfolio.
Jodi joined Boatmen’s Bank in 1994 as a retail management trainee in St. Louis, Missouri. With that bank’s merger with NationsBank in 1997, she began a career in change management.
From 1997 – 2003 – she held several change management roles on the Boatmen’s transition, the NationsBank/Bank of America merger and then on a series of change initiatives spanning the Consumer, Small Business, and Wealth Management businesses.
From 2003 to 2011, she held transition execution, PMO, integration, and testing/implementation assignments supporting the Fleet, MBNA, LaSalle, and Merrill Lynch transitions.
From early 2011 until mid 2013, she was the Enterprise Deployment Integration and Control executive within Enterprise Change responsible for identifying the Enterprise Change Calendar (integrated plan) and coordinating Change Condition governance to enable the successful delivery of critical change across the company.
From mid 2013 until mid 2019, she was the Chief Technology Organization PMO executive.
From mid 2019 to the present, she established the Operational Excellence Horizontal Program Change Execution PMO to now her current role providing program support to several Enterprise level efforts including COVID Pandemic related planning and delivery for the Global Real Estate and Client Care lines of business.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from St. Louis University graduating with magna cum laude honors. She received her Six Sigma Green Belt and ITIL Foundation certifications at Bank of America. She has two United States Patents granted for Change Convergence Risk Planning and Avoidance and for Change Convergence Risk Mapping.
