It was a quiet evening All Along the Watchtower following up the previous week where a bowler in a neighboring league hit the 300 gold mine. What a Voodoo Chile! The 4th quarter is moving along quickly and Spring is in the air with the baseball home opener looming.

There were no Shakespearean comedies or tragedies to report. It was a pretty quiet night overall. No one fell into the lanes, no one got thrown in jail, and no one cried. Some went for soda. Might as well. Nobody hurts.

Team Baker grabbed a victory over Team Decker even though they only had two team members. The fighting Deckers are hoping for a rebound next week.

Team Jones fell out of a first place tie as they dropped the contest 15 – 7 to Team Cowell. It was a big night by Captain David Cowell – rolling a 639 scratch series with two games over 200 (671 handicap). Little Wing!! BAM!

Team Lane did some good work – winning 14 – 8 over Team Weistreich. Jack Windish led the way with a 672 handicap series including a 205 game. KAPOW!

Team Driver reclaimed solo first place for the quarter with a 12 – 10 narrow win over Team Werner in spite of some outstanding performances on the Werner team. Terry Werner rolled a 205 game, Don Lorenz had a 203 game and a 661 handicap series, and Joey Papa (Hey Joe!) had a 660 handicap series as well. Purple Haze! CHA-CHING!

Matt Weiss was the 50/50 winner. Matt is once again planning a great Rotary Banquet on April 28 at Trattoria Toscana (new site this year). I believe he promised music for the evening will not include the Booty Man song.
