Moore has been with the Salvation Army for more than 30 years alongside his wife, Deannie Moore. He was commissioned and ordained as a Salvation Army officer in 2004 and has also served in central and southern Illinois, the Twin Cities, Detroit, Omaha, and Fargo. While the Salvation Army’s red kettle is a fixture around the holidays, the organization works year-round to provide housing, combat poverty, empower youth, help disaster survivors, and make a lasting difference in the community.
