Captain Chris Wilson ~ 106th Season, Week 19 Alleygations | February 3, 2025

106th Season – Week 19 Alleygations -Chris Wilson ~ February 3, 2025
Alleygations for 2-3-25
Wade… Wade… Captain!! I guess he’s lost at sea so I will write his alleygations for him.
Week 19 trapped on this ship with the same crew, and everyone is starting to get a little stir crazy. Thank goodness January is over and it was nice and warm Monday, there were even people in shorts other then Ralph Zuke.
I learned a lot this week while walking around asking how everyone was doing. Like this quote from Ken Schuman, “I Suck”. Which seemed odd since his team did decent this week. I also learned some family history about Jack Windish, did you know where he got the nickname “Windo”? Apparently, it was because “Jack is the window to Matt Weiss’ soul”. Thank you, Katie Lamarsh, for that bit of info, not sure what to do with it, but thanks.
On to the details you all came here to read. Speaking of Windo, we had Teams Baker and Lane dueling it out down on lanes 23 and 24. Lane was sitting in first place with 2 points on team Cowell going into this week. They have indeed extended their lead taking 15 points against team Baker.
In second place going into week 19 was Team Cowell who had to take on the captainless Weistreich Team. You would think they were on Carl Lane’s payroll after giving him 20 points last week in an embarrassing loss and then giving team Cowell a workout this week and taking 20 against them. Cowell finished the night with 2 more points then they started with giving Lane a 17 point lead for the quarter with only 1 week left before position night. Thos 2 points were thanks to Ralph Zuke and his amazing night securing him the high handicap series for the week with a 680. Not just 1 amazing game but he had 3 great games over average for the night. Side note, we did get to see Mike Coleman try to slip and slide down lane 17 but nobody caught it on film so he may deny it if asked.
Team Werner had to contend with Team Decker this week, although it may not be called Team Decker much longer after getting an earful from future Captain, Rose, who had to discipline Ralph for his poor attendance. Rose has put him on probation but he’s still required to bowl. Ralph had to step up and save his reputation and did so by having a great night, highest scratch game with 234, highest scratch series with 616 and high handicap game with a 249. Not to be the team idol, he had some competition from his teammate Lily Michaels who also put up some stats for the night, women’s high scratch game with 166, high handicap game with 250 (which was higher then Ralphs) and high handicap series 663. Not to mention Rose had women’s high scratch series with 416. Team Decker also had Team scratch series, handicap game and series. Way to go Team Rose… I mean Decker.
Last but not least, Teams Jones and Driver, both without captains this week, fought it out to the end but Team Driver bested the Jones ladies to take 16 points.
Lets see if anyone can Team Jones can keep Team Lane down next week or if Carl can push his team to an early victory going into the end of the 3rd quarter.
If anyone sees Wade please throw him a life raft, be careful though he may have scurvy, or ebola, or a cold, nobody knows.
