Brooks Goedeker
Executive Director Saint Louis Midtown Redevelopment Corporation Over the last two decades, Brooks Goedeker has a proven track record of working in St. Louis alongside its institutions, its business community, and its residents to turn innovative community and economic development concepts into reality. As executive director of Saint Louis University’s redevelopment corporation, Brooks’ primary responsibility is to attract interested parties to invest in a 400-acre area adjacent to SLU’s north and south campuses. So far, these developments include the City Foundry, the Armory district, the Element by Westin Hotel, a Target store, Topgolf and a multitude of other rehab and new construction projects. In addition, Brooks leads the marketing, infrastructure, and security enhancements for the area. Prior to coming to SLU, Brooks served as the executive director of Park Central Development, a nonprofit organization that promotes development in the city’s central corridor, including the Grove and parts of the Central West End.
