Strengthening underserved communities, one patient at a time, to promote community health.

IFM Community Medicine lives this mission every day by taking healthcare services directly to points of need in our community, overcoming access barriers related to cost, transportation, language, and trust.

Dave Campbell, M.D., M.Ed., Founder, President & CEO of IFM Community Medicine for 23 years, is a native of St. Louis and a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Family Practice, and has a masters degree in education from Temple University. He is veteran of 7 1/2 years in the United States Navy, and has over 15 years of experience as a residency program director. Dr. Campbell has served as a national consultant for the American Academy of Family Physicians’ “RAP” Residency Assistance Program (1989-2001), St. Louis County Department of Health’s Chief Medicine Officer (2000-2006), president of the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians (2006-2007), and Executive Director of La Clinica (2006-2008).

Sharon Neumeister, RN, BSN, MA joined IFM in 2020 as the Chief Program Officer. She is a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Nursing and has masters degrees in marketing and organizational development from Webster University. Sharon retired in 2019 after 32 years with Mercy where she served as the Regional Director of Community Health & Access. She has a passion for creating community partnerships to improve access to affordable health/social services and addressing health inequities with underserved populations.
