The Third Quarter race for first place has heated up with three teams within 3 points of each other. The Conway team was able to hang on to first place with a strong scratch series of 617 from Ralph Decker and a 107 scratch game from Amy Lewis for a 13-9 team victory over the Milne team.

The Lorenz team made a big move with 20 points over the Soifer team to jump into second place. The Lorenz team was highlighted by a 200 scratch game and 699 handicap series from Gary Jones. The Soifer team featured a strong 131 scratch game from Lily Michaels.

The third place Werner team earned 16 points from the Weiss team with a scratch series of 617 and a handicap series of 710 from Terry. Vic also contributed with a 646 handicap series. Don Klackner had a 519 scratch series and Jack Windish had a 633 handicap series for the Weiss team.

Other highlights from the night included:
– Vic picking up a 1-3-10 split not once but twice as well as a 1-3-7-10. WOW!
– Dave Cowell winning the 50/50 drawing for $46.
– Amy wearing a shirt that said Aim, Roll, Swear, Repeat.
– Ralph Decker giving Amy a lesson and then she picked up a 5-7 split. She also had 4 spares in one game. He only charged her $25 for the lesson!
– Matthew reportedly stealing drinks from his Aunt Rose.
– Matt Weiss is headed to Hawaii – have a safe trip.
– Doc Jones returned from the Cayman Islands – welcome back.
