Bowling Alleygations | Week 4 ~ October 3, 2022
This week was notable because all 6 teams competed with 4 bowlers. This is not to say that was necessarily a good thing for the team score. The blind would have beaten six of the 24 bowlers.
On the bright side, Terry Werner continued his prolific scoring with a high game of 226 and a leading 591 scratch series. The entire Werner team beat their average enabling them to capture the number two position behind the Milne team. Bob Barnes and David Cowell padded their averages by rolling +24. I won’t mention the four who failed to meet their average by the largest margin, but their initials begin with (in alphabetical order, not by score) Soifer, Tinucci, Weiss, and Windish.
Ralph Decker won the 50/50 drawing, who coincidentally drew the winning ticket. Ralph also wants to announce he is taking orders for new shirts. The shirts will have a new logo and different colors will be available. The cost will range from $45 to $65. Ralph did not specify why the cost differential, but it may have something to do with stomach size. Accordingly, to be sure you order the size you need, Ralph asks those who want to order bowl shirtless so he can accurately assess your required size. You can reach Ralph at (314) 406-0987 cellular or see him at bowling.
Respectfully submitted, Carl Lane
