Golf Report Greenbriar 9-20-22 – Mike Regan

.On Tuesday, September 20, 2022,  the Rotary Golf League held an outing at Greenbriar Hills Country Club hosted by Blake Critzas, Steve Lafara and John Guilfoy.  22 Rotarians enjoyed the challenging course on a beautiful, hot sunny day.  The condition of the course was excellent, perhaps the best we have ever experienced.

Following the round of golf, the group enjoyed cocktails followed by dinner in the clubhouse.  Blake, Steve and John graciously provided wine for dinner – thanks guys!  This was a great day enjoyed by all.

Individual Flight winners for the outing were Steve Lafara – Championship Flight (firing a 72 – the low score of the year), Dan Scott – A Flight, and Adam McNutt – B Flight.

Cris Conner won the Closest to the Pin contest at 4′ 3″ (nice par – he missed the putt).  The Long Drive winners were Adam McNutt in the “youth” division and Steve Lafara in the senior division.

Our final regular season outing, followed by the year-end award ceremony, is scheduled for October 4th at Sunset Country Club hosted by Cris Conner, Matt Wilson and Bob Bauer.  A team event will be held on October 18th at Fox Run pitting Team Endowment Fund captained by Ken Schuman against Team Community Service/Welfare Fund captained by Matt Weiss.  Please make plans to attend.

Pars and Birdies,

Mike Regan
