Julie Leverenz is currently serving as Governor for our District. She’s been a member of Rotary for ten years during which she’s had the privilege of serving as President of her club in Hannibal, traveling to West Africa with Rotarians to administer polio vaccines, traveling to Guatemala with Rotarians to build schools in remote villages, served as Assistant Governor for the District and has enjoyed serving as a part of the District Governor line over the past three years. She is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Bowling Green where she moved her membership following her recent retirement from a career of 31 years as a senior leader at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System; Governor Julie is a graduate of both Mizzou and Wash U; she is currently a leadership and life coach; and most importantly, she is a “Gigi” to two beautiful grandsons who live close to her and her husband of 38 years on their farm in rural Bowling Green, MO.
