Greetings to my friends in Rotary!
I would like to remind everyone that our next Thursday meeting on November 11th is our annual Veterans Day Event. This is a joint venture that the St. Louis Rotary Club and the Missouri Athletic Club present together. Please make every effort to attend this celebration to honor our Veterans.
I would also like to ask a favor. Old Newsboy’s Day is Thursday, November 18th. We desperately need volunteers to cover a few of the corners in downtown St. Louis. As I mentioned at our last meeting, Sean Smith who has run this event for many years will be unable to attend.
Sean fell a few weeks ago and broke his knee cap into several pieces and will be out for some time. I have agreed to step in for Sean this year, but I need some help.
Please let Joan or me know if you are available to help out.
