First of all, I would like to say that this newsletter is not about me. However, last week’s Thursday meeting was very special to me personally. My Rotary friends acknowledged me by singing Happy Birthday. It was a little embarrassing, but very exhilarating!
It made me think that this is what our Rotary Club is all about. It’s doing things that we do for one another and for our community as well. Rotarians are giving people and this was a prime example!
We support each other by attending funerals, acknowledging the accomplishments of fellow Rotarians and lending a helping hand when needed.
Rotary is a “feel good” place to be!!
We are social people and we certainly enjoy the fellowship that Club 11 has to offer.
Let’s get the word out to others and invite them to be a part of our Rotary family.
Rotary makes us better people, better friends and better members of our community. We serve to change lives!
