Bowling Alleygations Week 1 9/13/21
The Rotary Club #11 Bowling League rolled out it’s 103rd season with 40 Bowlers. Don Klackner and his staff had Olivette Lanes looking sharp for our 8 teams of bowlers. After a few minutes of practice rolls, we all stood for the singing of our National Anthem. USA Flag holders were Ashley Tooley and Bob Zangas.

Bob Barnes began his 58th bowling season. Bob’s first season was 1964. The Rotary bowling league had 160 bowlers. President Lyndon Johnson was in office and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was enacted that summer. Bob….we appreciate your commitment, friendship, and loyalty!

Terry Werner showed up with The George Fleihman Award Trophy. Terry, please keep bringing this trophy to bowling. Everyone needs to see the names of past recipients of this honorable award.

Bob Garagiola won the 50/50. A Big $51 bucks! Bob’s using his winnings towards the storage cost of Christopher Columbus statue.
