As you know, Wednesday is our annual Rotary Charity Golf Tournament!
This is our biggest fundraising event of the year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Golf Tournament Committee, as well as those of you who signed up to play or supported our effort by sponsoring the event. Some of our Rotarians pledged as much as $5,000!
However, I would personally like to thank all of our Rotarians and friends of Rotary for their generous support.
This year we would like to gross as much as $70,000 to help our Community Service Grant recipients.
This is what our Rotary Club is all about. We come together as a family of friends to serve our community to change lives! I’m very proud of the Rotarians who work so hard to make this effort so successful!
On a side note, I received a very gracious email from our District Governor, Margie Simmons, thanking us for our hospitality and the warm welcome we extended to her and her husband, Randy, as well as Sue Cobb, our Assistant Governor for our region. She was very impressed with our club and the great work that we do.
