John O’Sullivan, KMOV Producer BIO

John O’Sullivan has been working in Television news for the past 17 years. After graduating from The University of Missouri with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, he moved to Boise, ID for his first job at KTVB. After 2 years in Boise, he moved back home to St. Louis and worked for 5 years as the producer of the 9 and 10 pm news at KTVI Fox 2. 10 years ago he switched over the KMOV to serve as the producer of the Investigative Team. O’Sullivan has been awarded 7 Regional Emmy awards and 4 Regional Edward R. Murrow awards. He is the proud husband to Shannon O’Sullivan (née Weiss) and proud father to Liam and Finnegan. When not producing the News he enjoys reading, scuba diving, water polo and trying to keep up with his children’s sports schedule.

Charley works at the St. Louis VA Medical Center/Spinal Cord Injury National Hub and has been involved with various local and national VA rehabilitation programs including LifeWaters HERO DIVE. Charley started his scuba diving training back in the mid 90’s and has taught over 500 disabled veterans and civilians how to scuba dive. He continues to provide leadership in training medical and dive staff the benefits of water and scuba to those with traumatic injuries which include spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injuries, MS, amputation, PTSD and ALS.
