Rotary Club of St. Louis – Club 11
Letter from the President 7-22-21

Hello to all my fellow Rotary friends!
I hope everyone had a chance to get out and enjoy the beautiful summer weather we’re having in St. Louis.

This week, I would like to dedicate my weekly letter to a fellow Rotarian who I think is an outstanding Rotarian!
Rose Cooper exemplifies “Service Above Self”. If you know Rose, and I am confident that everyone does, you know what I’m talking about.

As you know, Rose was the President of our club several years ago. She did an outstanding job and is totally dedicated to Rotary. Many ex presidents seem to take their foot off the gas pedal for a while after their tenure, but not Rose! She stepped up to the next level and became our District Governor of 6060. This job requires you to visit every Rotary Club in the district to promote Rotary and fire up the troops to take action.

Currently, Rose is in charge of the “PepperBox” and has taken it to a professional level!

She is a perennial member of the bowling league and never misses an opportunity to enjoy the company of her Rotary friends.
She is always involved in the Rotary Charity Golf Tournament and is a very generous sponsor to the event!
Rose has been an extremely active Rotarian in Club 11 and never turns down an opportunity to serve her beloved club!

Your first Scotch on the Rocks at Rotary Bowling this year is on me.
Cheers to Rose!!
